My dad bought a brand new 1957 Chevy station wagon memory go way back.

still has the 3.6 l rod knock they didnt even put a stethiscope on it to find out which cylinder/area the noise was coming from . i am hearing impaired and even i can hear it i bought a extended warranty when i purchased the acadia also i stated that transmission was slipping lazily shifting into the next higher gear when moderately quarter to half throttle was being applied. dont know if i am comparing apples to oranges but my 2013 lacrosse doesnt have any 3.6 engine noise and trans doesnt slip at all 90000 miles roughly

Welll, to start, I went in for an oil change. (6-24) The next day after the inspection, my check engine light was on, my AC was not working blowing out warm air, so I went to check my coolant. And there was none in there. Was confused due to the fact I came in for an oil change but left with sudden issues. That are still undiagnosed.

Frank Becks communication is awful. My car sat there for a week with no call to me to discuss anything while they were trying to fix the key fob. My cars issue wasn't even the key fob! How they came up with that is beyond me. The issue was deeper than a key fob. Even if it was the fob why was there no call to tell me the fob was fine? My car chugged and spit smoke and my oil spewed all over. In the end it took 9 days for them to change a cam valve cover and cost me $549. Ridiculous. And if I am being honest... a big reason I have gone to Becks for a decade is because I have to have a vehicle with being on dialysis and they gave loaner cars. Apparently their policy has changed and loaner cars are not given unless the vehicle was purchased there. Even after being a loyal customer and forking over thousands of dollars to that place. Now explain to me how anyone wouldn't be upset... I believe I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

I was told my transmission was bad. The extended warranty they sold me didn’t cover the power train. Never mentioned the battery was bad which can affect the cars ECM. Took the car home put a new battery in it and problem fixed. As GM family I’ve lost faith in Beck Chevrolet. I feel they just wanted me to buy a new car by telling me mine needed a new transmission.

On 11/28/25 I bought four new Continental tires through the dealership and had those tires installed at the dealership. I was happy at that time and pleased with the difference in I noticed right away. A few days later I returned to have the lug nuts re-torqued, as recommended. Still very happy at that point. Two weeks later, I was back at the dealership- 1) with a noticeable pull and was told the tow was out in both the front and rear as well as the camber being off on my rear tires. My previous tires were not worn unevenly when removed and I had no signs of an alignment being needed at the time the new tires were installed; 2) the tire monitor system error was flashing on my dash and I was told the the sensor on my back passenger side tire was not working. So, I then had an alignment done that day. I decided not to replace the tire sensor at this time due to the additional cost. I was also advised that it was likely the other sensors would be failing in the next week or two. One week later, I found a lug nut cap in my driveway. I then walked around my car and found that there was another one missing. I stopped by the dealership to discuss this. I have been told that the alignment is “normally recommended” at the time new tires are installed, I’m being told the timing of the sensor going out is a coincidence, I’m being told that the lug nut caps coming off is also a coincidence. I have never had any issues like this with my vehicle and the “coincidences” since having the new tires installed are a cause for concern.
